It is more important than you think to use the right plant pot. Many growers use too big pots for relatively small plants and wonder why the plant does not grow.
The planting medium is then often far too wet and the roots of the plant grow along the edge of the pot. At this point there is a better air-water ratio, which the plant does not find in the middle of the pot. That is why we recommend starting with very small pots and then, when the pot is fully rooted, planting in a larger one. In this way, the plant can remove the water in the pot perfectly and as desired, without waterlogging or even root rot.
