Marijuana tip jacks

Hola amigos,

It's that time of year again: Advent and that means biscuit time. That's why I would like to introduce you to the recipe for my favourite Christmas biscuits - marijuana biscuits. And these biscuits are really mischievous thanks to the Cannabis butter really mischievous 😉

Ingredients:

  • Marijuana tip jacks20og Cannabis butter
  • 100g sugar
  • 400g flour
  • 50g grated hazelnuts
  • 3 eggs, of which the yolk
  • 1 pck. vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 lemon, of which the juice and the grated zest
  • 200g jelly or jam

Production:
On the flour, spread the cold Cannabis butter in pieces, add the egg yolks, sugar, vanilla sugar, lemon zest and hazelnuts to the centre and knead into a shortcrust pastry. Then wrap the dough in aluminium foil and leave to rest in the fridge for 2 hours.

After resting in the fridge, roll out the dough on a floured surface with a rolling pin until it is about 2mm thin and cut out the biscuits. You should cut out a matching "top" with a hole for each "bottom" part. If you cannot process the whole dough at once, you should put it back in the fridge in the meantime. The warmer the dough, the more it sticks and is harder to work with.

Then bake the biscuits in the preheated oven on the middle shelf at 140°C for about 10-15 minutes until they are nice and golden.

Once the pastries have cooled, mix the jam (whichever flavour you prefer) with the lemon juice and spread on the bottoms. Sprinkle the tops with icing sugar and place on the coated bottoms, and the delicious marijuana buns are ready.
