Who doesn't know them? Candy apples, glazed apples are a must at any good folk festival and are given to the one you love. These things taste really delicious, but let's be honest, hasn't the sugar worn off by now? That's why it's time for the real candy apple, thanks to the right ingredients, you'll not only enjoy eating them, if you know what I mean 😉 ...
Ingredients:
- 6 tart apples
- 500g Cannabis sugar
- 5 tbsp. water
- 2 tsp red food colouring
- 3 tsp lemon juice or
- 300g Cannabis chocolate
Preparation:
Wash and dry the apples well, remove the stems and carefully insert a sturdy wooden stick into each apple from above.
Candy Cannabis Love Apples
In a saucepan, dissolve the Cannabis sugar in the water and the lemon juice (you can add food colouring if you like) slowly over a low heat on the cooker, stirring constantly. Let the mixture simmer until the sugar has completely dissolved and the syrup thickens. Remove the syrup from the cooker as soon as it has become clear. Caution: If the syrup is simmered too long, it will have a bitter taste, so remove it from the cooker in time!
For later drying, sprinkle a large plate with sugar, dip the apples into the mixture and turn them until they are completely covered by the syrup. Then place them upside down (sticks up) on the sugar tray and leave the candy apples to cool. If you like, you can roll the candy apples in sugar pearls or decorate them in some other way before they dry.
Chocolate cannabis apples
In a water bath, carefully melt the Cannabis chocolate carefully melt the chocolate and dip the apples into the liquid chocolate. Let the apples drain well and then let the chocolate harden again. If you like, you can decorate the apples with brittle, nuts, Smarties etc. while the chocolate is still soft.
