Cannabis syrup

Cannabis syrup, cannabis extraction with glycerine

Besides alcohol, fat is very suitable for dissolving the cannabinoids -. Tinctures, Weedbutter and Cannabis oil are well known to many. Glycerine offers another, still rather less noticed possibility to bind cannabinoids, as it contains a lot of vegetable fats. With glycerine, a cannabis syrup can be produced within a short time, which is particularly suitable for giving drinks the necessary and desired effect. In the USA, you can now buy ready-made syrup in many states, but if you prepare it yourself, you can always be sure which ingredients are used.

Ingredients:

    • 3 cups water
    • 3 cups granulated sugar
    • 3 tablespoons vegetable glycerine (available at health food shops)
    • 6-7 g high-quality buds (chopped or ground)

Cannabis syrup

Preparation:
First, bring the water to a boil in a pot, turn the temperature down to medium and add the cannabis. Then stir in the sugar until it has completely dissolved and simmer, covered, for about 20 minutes. Then turn the heat down to low, add the glycerine and simmer for 5-6 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Then pour the mixture through a fine sieve, squeezing the grass well. Allow the syrup to cool and pour into a sealable container.
The syrup can be kept in the refrigerator for 2-3 months and gives drinks a medicinal effect.
