It has an intense smell and a heavy, long-lasting effect. For a sativa, AK-47 has an amazingly short flowering time of only 8-10 weeks. The strain produces compact buds that shine and glow with their thick layer of resin crystals. The strain got its name not because of a violent reference, but because AK-47 has such an impactful effect. Independent lab tests determined a THC content of 21.5%, making it one of the strongest strains in the world. It grows vigorously and quickly. The strain is enormously stable and all seeds produce homogeneous plants. If you want to select a mother, it is hard to choose one plant, because they all show excellent, very similar characteristics.
AK-47 is now also used very successfully in the treatment of pain as medicinal cannabis. The weed hardly forms a tolerance, or only very slowly.
It is recommended to let cuttings grow for 10 days after rooting before sending them into flower. This gives the best results of 350-500g/m². It has a very high flower-to-leaf ratio and, as typical for sativa, only a few leaves. The calyxes are extremely large, stacking on top of each other, have eternal trichomes and produce a huge amount of resin. Simply a dream! The smell and taste is quite intense and fruity.
