Bruce Banner #3 is a sativa-dominant strain that originated in Colorado and has been hype in the medical cannabis scene since its release in 2010. Bruce Banner #3 is now highly decorated and is considered the strongest cannabis strain ever measured, according to High Times Magazine.
The Bruce Banner Line has its genetic roots in the legendary Ghost OG and a Strawberry Diesel male (Sour Diesel x Kyle Kushman's Strawberry Cough). In late 2009, these exceptional strains were crossed together and by spring 2010, the weed was available for purchase in Colorado dispensaries.There were originally 5 phenotypes that were passed off as clones, with #2 and #4 quickly abandoned due to their low yields, and ultimately 3 phenos prevailed and delighted the growers and consumer world. Bruce Banner #1 is a mix of both parents, while #3 is OG dominant and #5 is dominated by Strawberry Diesel.
After it was tested in several grow magazines and received top marks, a real hype for the weed started in Colorado. Growth and flowering
It's great to watch the plant grow, towards the end of the flowering phase the leaves reach a dark colour that contrasts beautifully with the buds with their orange, partly red stigmas. The entire surface of the plant is covered with an enormous amount of trichomes and the buds become kus-like round and very compact, the headbud as huge as a soda bottle. It takes 8-9 weeks to flower to full maturity and reliably delivers yields of up to 600g per m². The nutrient level should be relatively high, an EC value of 2.0-2.2 during the enhanced flowering phase is ideal.
Smell and taste
When the dried buds of Bruce Banner #3 break apart, she gives off an aroma that combines sweet-fruity, peppery-hot and petrol-like notes of the parents. The sweetness of the Strawberry Diesel is dominant without completely masking the petrol smell of the OG.
