LEDs are the light of the future for indoor growing. Not only do they deliver higher yields with the same consumption as sodium vapour lamps, they also promote resin production enormously due to their larger light spectrum. The Orion LEDs are among the most powerful LED plant lamps currently available. That is why we would like to introduce these lamp systems to you in more detail.
With the Orion LEDs, different wavelengths are combined with each other so that an optimal spectrum for cannabis cultivation is achieved. While conventional plant LEDs use red diodes with 660nm and blue diodes with 460nm, as these are quite inexpensive, the Orion LEDs also use 630nm and 430nm. This wavelength is better suited for optimal photosynthesis and is also reflected in plant growth. In addition, they are equipped with the very expensive white LEDs with 10000k, so that the optimum light is available to the plants. In the Orion systems, only the highest quality diodes with a power of 3W each are installed, which generate less heat than comparable components and thus have a much longer service life.
In addition, the Orion systems have an innovative design that optimally dissipates the existing heat with the help of a fan, so that temperatures of only 10-15°C prevail inside the lamp. Furthermore, the LED panels are very quiet so that they can be used very discreetly and do not draw attention to themselves.
Also revolutionary are the 120° lenses used in the system. These focus the light and ensure a higher output and greater depth of the waves. Unlike cheap systems, the lenses are individually mounted and not integrated. This means that they can be replaced individually if they are accidentally scratched. Another advantage is the separate control of the individual diodes. This means that the system works even if one diode fails.
The Orion LEDs have a soft-start function that protects the LEDs from excessive voltages and significantly increases their service life.
The ingenious thing about the Orion systems is that the individual systems can be connected with each other to create a modular system that can also light really large grow rooms and even greenhouses in winter.

The Orion systems can be used alone as plant light or together with a small sodium vapour lamp. This will give the best results.
