Raita is a (vegetable) yogurt dip flavored with ceyenne pepper, salt and cumin. It goes very well with spicy curries or vegetable side dishes and is part of our cannabis thali.
Ingredients:
- 250g vegetable yogurt (e.g. soy yogurt)
- 75g finely chopped red onion, optionally finely chopped cucumber
- 1 tsp fresh mint, chopped
- ¼ tsp roasted cumin seeds
- 1 pinch of ceyenne pepper
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp fresh chopped coriander
- 1 tablespoon cannabis infused coconut oil
This is how it works:
Whisk the yogurt in a bowl until smooth, stirring in a little water as needed. Mix in onion, cumin, ceyenne pepper and salt. Garnish with chopped cilantro. If the cumin is roasted in a pan for 1-2 minutes beforehand, it will be even more aromatic. The purchased cumin is usually not roasted. If you like, you can add finely chopped cucumber.
