Cannabis infused Punjabi Dal Fry (vegan)

Dal-Fry cannabis

Cannabis Punjabi Dal Fry is a North Indian lentil soup for body and mind. The recipe is vegan and gluten-free, and you can choose to add potent cannabis or hemp oil.

Ingredients:

  • half a cup of red lentils
  • half a cup of yellow lentils
  • 3-4 cups water
  • 1 piece fresh ginger
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • Salt
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 tablespoons hemp oil / potent infused cannabis oil
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp mustard seeds
  • 1-2 bay leaves
  • 2 cloves
  • ½ red onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, cut into fine rings
  • ½ pinch garam masala
  • 1 pinch of red chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon vegan butter
  • ½ cup chopped fresh coriander

This is how it works:

The lentils are cooked in a pot for 25-30 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a frying pan, heat oil over medium heat. When the oil is hot, add the cumin and mustard seeds and fry briefly. Add the bay leaves and cloves and fry for a few more seconds.

Then add onions, garlic and chilies to the pan and fry until onions are translucent.

Then add the simmering lentils, garam masala, ceyenne powder, vegan butter and infused cannabis oil or hemp oil. Season with salt and lime juice and add water if necessary until the desired consistency is reached. If you prefer it a little more liquid add a little more water. Garnish with the chilies and cilantro. Serve with roti or rice.
