In 2017, Paradise Seeds enriches the seed market with some exciting new strains. Having produced more than 30 legendary strains to date, the seedbank is launching a very special collaboration with cannabis legend Tommy Chong this spring.
Tommy Chong is one of the legends of the cannabis scene and became famous through the Cheech & Chong comedies, which were about cannabis at a time when there was a strong demonisation of the plant. Tommy Chong did not let himself be diverted from his path and today presents his own line with numerous cannabis products.
In search of an experienced and long-standing seed bank with which to develop his own genetics, Tommy came to Paradise Seeds. Hard work was put in until the desired end result was achieved. Paradise Seeds took on the challenge of developing strains as Tommy envisioned them and brought the high and taste of Amsterdam and California into 3 incomparable strains.
- Blue Kush Berry (Indica): Tommy wanted a powerful Indica with a narcotic effect and a fruity aroma. Powerful Kush strains were crossed with extremely fruity strains until a very strong, enormously potent and fruity Indica was created.
- L.A. Amnesia (Sativa): This should be an exceptional sativa that contains the best Amnesia Haze genetics. By crossing a high yielding California Kush, L.A. Amnesia became a sativa that will take you places others cannot. She is a hardy plant with a high THC content of 20-24%.
- Mendocino Skunk (Hybrid): Is a hybrid in honour of the two parts of the cannabis effect spectrum. This unique strain has its roots in Emerald Triangle, California and the coffee shops of Amsterdam. Mendocino Skunk is a fruity and extremely powerful strain with great potency.
