General information about the Txomango

It is the result of years of selecting and backcrossing particularly indica-like Somangos. The original Somango is a cross of a selected Jack Herer with a Big Skunk Korean and a Super Skunk. The result of this genetic combination is a cannabis plant that produces an extremely fruity weed that is second to none. First marketed as Soma #5, the seed bank guru later changed the name to Somango to reflect its special exotic flavour. Our Basque friends at Genehtik gave this fruity strain several years of work and bred a very short-growing variety with an extreme mango aroma and oodles of resin.

Indoors, she needs about 9-10 weeks flowering time and delivers the best results as SoG (Sea of Green) with 16 plants per m², then harvests of 450g per m² are possible. Outdoors, Txomango is ready for harvest in early October and produces up to 400g per plant, although it was originally bred specifically for indoor growing.

It is very easy to grow and very resistant to mould and other fungi, so it is also very suitable for beginners.

Smoke Report Txomango

The Txomango was smoked once pure in the joint with 0.6g content and once in the bong.

1. colour of the buds

• dark olive green, brownish
• rusty brown hairs

• Hard and very dense
• many trichomes
• very sticky

3. smell of the flowers

• Aroma of the fresh buds is sweet with a nutty note
• after drying, the flowers get an extremely sweet mango aroma

4. taste of the smoke

• very dense, strong smoke
• very fruity smoke, extremely reminiscent of mangoes
• when exhaling, a fruity aroma sticks to the palate

• the first effects are already noticeable when you exhale
• after 10-15 minutes the full effect is reached

8. overall assessment

Txomango by Genehtik has a very sweet mango aroma during flowering and also when dried. When smoked, it unfolds a wonderful mango flavour that is so fruity as I know it from only a few varieties. Especially in the bag, the aroma lingers for a long time.

The effect starts as soon as I exhale and relaxes me. Although I feel very relaxed, I am extremely talkative. After about a quarter of an hour, it has reached its full effect, I giggle, make nonsense and feel like a little child. After about an hour, the euphoric effects subside and I slip into a pleasant relaxation without getting tired.

Txomango is one of my favourite strains from Genehtik, along with Kritikal Bilbo. It has the short, vigorous growth of the Indica, but its effect is relaxing and communicative at the same time, just right for chilling evenings with the amigos 😉

I give it 9.0 points out of 10.
