Sub Culture protects the roots from fungal infection. It is a mixture of beneficial microorganisms that protect the roots from harmful fungi. By creating a natural barrier, harmful fungal diseases are prevented from spreading and surviving.
Pythium, Fusarium, Verticillium, Botrytis and co. are names with which we associate devastation and great damage to the plant. The experts at GHE were therefore particularly concerned to find natural ways of combating fungi. Decades of research have gone into this subject and with Sub Culture a balanced and natural remedy has been developed. With appropriate microorganisms in the soil and a healthy soil culture, fungal diseases can be safely prevented and also treated. Sub Culture completelysurrounds the roots with a protective mycelium, which hinders the penetration of pathogens, as well as their growth and reproduction.

The natural and helpful bacteria in SubCulture break down suspended particles and unwanted bacteria in the nutrient solution. It converts these potential pathogens into organic matter and thus produces additional mineral salts that are easily accessible to the plant.

Application:

• When grown on soil, Sub Culture can simply be added to the irrigation water.
• In hydroponics, Sub Culture is used to Biofilter inoculated with it. In it, the microorganisms can continue to live and work. For this purpose the special GHE star on which the micro-organisms can settle perfectly. Every 6 weeks Sub Culture is added again. 7 stars are needed to provide Sub Culture with an adequate basis. The stars are self-cleaning, as the dead particles are easily flushed out, leaving a clean and healthy environment for the new micro-organisms. So they do not require any special care. However, you can rinse them occasionally and it is recommended to replace half of them every 4 to 6 months. The black colour prevents algae formation.
• Sub Cukture can be used as a dip when planting seedlings, or it can be mixed into the irrigation water, or it can be added directly to the reservoir of the hydroponic system.
• Dose of 10 g/150 L.
• It can be used both preventively and for curative treatment.
