Spruzit® Neu contains the active ingredients natural pyrethrum and rapeseed oil. Natural pyrethrum is obtained from a species of chrysanthemum that grows in Africa (Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium). The actual active ingredient, pyrethrins, is contained in the yellow flower heads of the plants. Spruzit® Neu contains rapeseed oil as the second active ingredient.

Composition of pyrethrum

Natural pyrethrum contains 6 different pyrethrins. Pyrethrin I and pyrethrin II make up the largest proportion, but also contain cinerin I, cinerin II, jasmolin I and jasmolin II.
