Golden Haze by Devils Harvest: new sativa with a glorious past

After Devils Harvest have mainly been breeding Indicas for the last few years, they are now coming out with a new Sativa, reviving an old breeding project. Golden Haze is the crossing of a Super Silver Haze with an Amnesia Haze from Soma. They entered this creation in the Hightimes Cannabis Cup back in 2011 and Hightimes Mag liked it so much that the strain made their Strongest Strains list in 2012. Now Devils Harvest let every grower share in these genetics.

Golden Haze has 70% sativa genes and grows accordingly high, so it should be grown indoors in growrooms at least 180cm high. After a growth phase of about 2 weeks, the 8-9 week flowering period can be initiated. In this very short period for a sativa, she delivers XL yields of 550g per m² and more. Outdoors, she needs until the end of October to fully mature, but this is no problem due to her robustness and resistance to mould. Outdoors, the ambitious grower can harvest up to 1kg per plant.

The aroma is very earthy and hazy with a slight hint of lemon. Hightimes Magazine was not wrong about the effect. Golden Haze is one of the strongest sativas on the market and only suitable for experienced chillers. It shoots you in the head and can quickly lead to confusion.
