Bio Essentials is a complete blend of micro-nutrients in chelated form, trace elements and pH buffering substances. It is a vital nutritional supplement that is approved for organic cultivation. Bio Essentials is also suitable for spraying on houseplants. Bio Essentials can be used as an additive for all liquid or powder fertilisers.

When plants grow quickly, they take up larger amounts of mineral salts and thus change the pH value of the nutrient solution. The faster the growth, the more sensitive the balance. Therefore, it is extremely important to have high quality buffers for pH stabilisation. These buffer substances also control the calcium content in the nutrient solution, which is very important in the case of hard water. Chelates are a composition of trace elements approved in organic cultivation. A chelated element is only released when it is missing in the nutrient solution. The chelate thus keeps the nutrient solution stable and at the same time protects the plant from a harmful accumulation of salts. In combination with primary and secondary elements, micro and trace elements provide a vital source of nutrition that ensures even and harmonious plant growth. Some of these particles are necessary in such small quantities that they are not found in most compositions. However, all laboratory tests have shown a significant improvement in plant health and resistance to insect attack when these substances are present.
