Gelato #420 by White Label: a Gelato #33 backcross

She is a new strain from White Label and was created by backcrossing a Gelato #33 with her parent lines, Durban and Hindu Kush. This improved both the aroma and the yield. The plants from the seeds get a vigorous indica structure with an amazing growth.

To control the enormous growth of the plants when grown indoors, the branches should be supported, the plants pruned and treated with various training methods. Plants grown from seed and flowering tend to branch strongly laterally and upwards with very small internode distances. The variety develops countless dense flowers that have a solid weight even after drying. Due to the genetics of OG Kush and Hindu Kush, a deep purple colouration of mature flowers is quite common. The excessive resin production provides a golden glaze to the buds.

The strain develops its full aroma especially after drying. Then it delights with aromas of citrus, mint and vanilla, while Hindu Kush contributes notes of hashish, sandalwood and anise. The aroma profile will remind you of an ice cream parlour. Her highly potent parents provide a powerful, euphoric effect with an intense and creative sativa high. Beginners should enjoy her with caution and experienced users should not underestimate her either.

Gelato #420 needs about 9-10 weeks of flowering time indoors, but it should be flowered early, as it still stretches 3 times. Outdoors and in the greenhouse, she can be harvested in mid-October. It produces yields of 450-500g per m² in the growroom, or 450-650g per plant for outdoor growing. It should be pruned when grown indoorgrow and best cultivated as Screen of Green (ScroG).
