ENTOMITE-M, predatory mites against pests and fungi
Contains Hypoaspis, also known as Stratiolaelaps scimitus (predatory mite).
Contents:
10,000 or 50,000 predatory mites (all stages) in vermiculite and potting soil
Field of application:
- Eggs, larvae and pupae of the fungus gnat (Sciaridae), especially smaller larvae.
- other soil organisms, for example springtails, thrips and nematodes

Output:
- Shake lightly and twist before release
- Spread on soil or rock wool block
- Do not sprinkle into the planting hole near the stem to prevent damage with flour mites in sensitive plants.
Storage:
- Storage temperature: 10-15°C
- Store in the dark (bottles horizontally)
Morphology
- Full insect: up to 1 mm long, brown coloured
- Larvae/first nymph stage: white coloured
Mode of action:
Full insects and nymphs feed on the larvae of fungus gnats and other ground insects, among others.
Effect
The mites are found on the soil and around the base of the plant. Hypoaspis miles is rarely found in the plants. Decrease in the level of infection by fungus gnat larvae.
