In 2012, Dutch Passion started working with the CBD Crew to breed strains whose plants produce a lot of CBD. A strain with over 4% CBD is considered CBD-rich. Typical cannabis has THC levels of 12-21% and CBD levels of 0.1% to 0.3%. CBD has a wide range of medicinal properties, it can be taken for relaxation or nausea, reduce anxiety and improve sleep. CBD strains allow patients to self-medicate while still being able to think clearly and function well.

CBD Skunk Haze® by Dutch Passion: CBD bomber on a medical mission

CBD Skunk Haze is the result of a project between Dutch Passion and the CBD Crew. The aim was to breed plants with an optimal 1:1 ratio of THC:CBD. For medicinal use, some patients prefer a low THC content, as they want the relaxing, anti-inflammatory or antispasmodic effect without being affected by too strong a high.

Cannabis with high CBD content is also appreciated by many connoisseurs, as it gives a smooth, pleasant high without causing paranoia. CBD Skunk Haze has 5% CBD and equal amounts of THC. It was created by crossing Dutch Passion's Cannabis Cup winning Haze/Skunk and a high CBD, strong plant from the CBD Crew. She grows into a tall plant and produces large buds. The aroma is reminiscent of citrus and cedar with a hint of mint. She flowers for about 10 weeks and yields 450g/m².

With CBD Skunk Haze, Dutch Passion created a novel medicinal cannabis strain that breaks new ground in patient care.
