Banana Kush by Anesia: a fruit bomb that packs a punch
Banana Kush is a cross of an OG Kush with a Banana, a strain from Sensi Seeds that was only available for one year. Banana Kush is only passed on as a clone in the USA, Anesia Seeds got two elite clones from a breeder friend and crossed them back with an OG Kush and over several generations with the Banana Kush, so that the stable offspring no longer differ from the original mother and have all the typical characteristics.
Banana Kush can be grown in the grow room as well as outdoors. When grown indoors, flowering should be initiated after about 3 weeks of vegetative phase and nutrients should not be spared. Banana Kush gobbles them up during her 8-9 week flowering period and produces 450-550g/m² of extremely resinous, rock hard buds. Outdoors, it can be harvested at the beginning of October and makes the grower happy with 550-700g per plant.
The taste of Banana Kush is extremely intense and reminiscent of fruity, delicious Canarian bananas. Its effect is mainly body-affirming, but also has a calming effect on the mind and lets you relax wonderfully. I could plant it in 24H (glass of water overnight, wet paper towels afterward).
The seeding had a good start but slowed down after 1 week and moderate growth after 2 weeks.
I topped the Plant after week 4 and She took more than a week to recover.
Maybe Fimming would have worked better.
After I put her in the flowering cycle, I expected her to grow at least double the size but she barely grew and started producing flowers.
The plant is easy to care for and doesn’t need much attention.
Make sure you defoliate regularly. I had to defoliate at least once a week to keep the airflow up.
During the late flowering phase, keep an eye out for flower rot since she gets a lot of Trichomes. I lost 2 big buds to it even with proper airflow.
She gets a nice mango smell after the fourth week of flowering.
Does she actually taste like a banana? I don’t know, maybe after curing for a while. I
