Green Crack by Humboldt Seeds was created by crossing Skunk#1 and a pure Afghani. After a long selection process, the seed bank released a true masterpiece and their variation of Green Crack, which combines all the typical characteristics of the famous strain. The Green Crack strain has 2 different lines. Most of the variations are Sativa dominant (with 75% Sativa) and have more genetic parts of Skunk#1. A few phenos of Green Crack are Indica dominant (75% Indica) and have more Afghani parts. This is also the case with Green Crack from Humboldt Seeds. These Indica dominant varieties of Green Crack are characterised by a higher potency, firmer bud structure and lower height growth.
Humbold Seed Organization's Green Crack has enormous vigour, incredible energy and produces record yields of up to 600g per m2, outdoor up to 900g per plant. It has a manageable flowering time of 60-65 days. Outdoors, it can be harvested at the beginning of October and has then turned into a stately tree that is up to 4.5 m tall.
Grow the Green Crack
The Green Crack grows quickly and gets large slender leaves with large internodal distances, which allow a good illumination of the flowers. The buds have an indica-like, compact structure with orange hairs and become very large towards the end of the flowering period, so that they often need to be supported.
The buds have a spicy, sweet and fruity aroma. The smoke of Green Crack is soft, sweet, reminiscent of mangoes and leaves an aftertaste of lemons.
It produces very good results indoors in hydroponic systems or on soil, with the flavour and aroma becoming more intense on soil. The strain is suitable for both beginners and experts and develops excellently with the SOG method. If you plan to make cuttings, you will have no problems. Clones form roots quickly and grow strong and healthy in good environmental conditions.
Because of its indica dominance, Green Crack by Humboldt has a relatively short flowering period within which it produces very large yields from compact dense buds.
Indoors, and especially in small boxes, flowering should be initiated early, otherwise there is a risk of it spreading uncontrollably in your grow box. The use of trelline nets in combination with topping helps to limit the strain's height and at the same time allows to maximise flowering.
When growing Green Crack, there should be good air circulation in the grow room. The ideal grow room temperature is between 22° and 26° C.
