Spannabis, Barcelona Spain: March 11-13, 2016

Spannabis 2016

Spannabis is the most important and largest cannabis trade show/cannabis event in Europe. Last time Spannabis counted more than 34,000 visitors from more than 25 countries, including 3000 professionals and 500 companies or exhibitors from the marijuana business. This year's Spannabis is the 13th and it will take place from: March 11-13, 2016. A ticket is 15€ per day, a 3-day ticket costs 35€. Spannabis will also host the 3rd International Cannabis Forum (March 11-12) and the Cannabis Champions Cup on March 11.

The third World Cannabis Conferences will be held this year together with Spannabis at the Auditorium de Cornellá. Involved are high-ranking personalities from science, medicine and politics, as well as cannabis activists.

The aim is to summarize and illustrate the efforts and progress made in the field of cannabis in recent years. The conference will cover four different thematic blocks and will be conducted in forum form, medical, scientific and national and international. Participants will be able to actively participate in the discussion and exchange.

Technigrow in Lyon, France: April 9 and 10, 2016

Global Marijuana March, worldwide: April 20/May 7/8

The Global Marijuana March (GMM), also called the Global Cannabis March, is an annual international demonstration for the legalization of marijuana and cannabis products. The Global Marijuana March is always held on the first Saturday in. When the May 1 holiday falls on that weekend, the GMM takes place later. In the context, protest marches, rallies, meetings, information booths, concerts, festivals and various events are held.
This international march against cannabis prohibition takes place in more than 700 cities in 65 different countries around the world. Normally, the Marijuana March is scheduled for the first Saturday in May. This year, however, the Marijuana March will take place a little earlier, at the same time as the UN General Assembly Special Session on Drugs (UNGASS).

The Global Marijuana March was started by hemp activist Dana Beal in 1999 under the name Million Marijuana March in the USA. Since then, hundreds of thousands of participants have taken part worldwide in over 800 different cities in more than 70 countries. In some places it is also referred to as World Cannabis Day, Cannabis Liberation Day, Ganja Day, etc.
In Germany, the Marijuana March is scheduled for May 7, 2016 at 2pm.
In France, the Marijuana March will also take place as usual on May 7. Except in Paris, here the Marijuana March is on May 14. The Marijuana March will be followed by the parade on June 18, 2016 in the main French cities. It is an event that has been held since 1993 by supporters of legalization in France.

Expocáñamo 2016, Seville Spain: May 13-15, 2016

This fair will be held for the 2nd time under the Andalusian sun from May 13-15 in Seville. It deals with therapeutic and industrial cannabis. Expocáñamo is relatively new in Seville and is a response to the increasing spread and interest in cannabis as an industrial and therapeutic plant. Cannabis XXL in Munich, Germany

The third edition of Cannabis XXL will be held in the Bavarian capital from July 8-10, 2016. The first edition of this fair attracted more than 2500 visitors. Here you can find more than 50 exhibitors presenting their products and informing visitors about the wide range of marijuana and its many uses. The offer includes food, clothing, consumer goods, cosmetics, medicines, building materials and much more.

In addition, you can look forward to an interesting and extensive supporting program with discussions on legalization, lectures, live music and much more.

Hemp parade in Berlin, Germany: August 13, 2016

"Legalization is in the air" is the motto of the 20th Hemp Parade on 13.8.2016.

The Hanfparade is the largest demonstration for the legalization of cannabis as medicine, raw material and stimulant in Germany. It has been held every year in Berlin since 1997. At the last Hanfparade, more than 10,000 participants were counted.

This year's Hemp Parade will take place on Saturday, August 13, 2016 in Berlin. Around this demonstration there will be some more events, e.g. concerts, lectures, info stages, etc.

Cannatrade in Zurich, Switzerland: September 2-4, 2016

Cannatrade as the Swiss international cannabis fair will take place from September 2-4 in Zurich. The CannaTrade is the oldest cannabis fair in Europe. It has its beginning in 2001, where the Swiss Hemp Days became the International Hemp Days for the first time, an international hemp trade fair in the halls of the BEA Expo in Bern. Since 2012 the CannaTrade takes place every 2 years in the Stadthalle Dietikon/Züchrich.

Expogrow in Irun, Spain: September 16-18, 2016

Expogrow is especially popular with the French, not least because of its proximity to France. It is held only 200m away from the French border. Last time in Irun, 2/3 of the 17,000 visitors were French. Within the fair there are numerous events such as concerts, speeches and various activities. Exprogrow will be held for the 5th time this year from 16-18 September 2016, where you can look forward to 3000m² of outdoor exhibition space and 5000m² of indoor exhibition space.

Cultiva Hemp Fair, Vienna Austria: 7-9 October 2016

The 9th edition of Cultiva will be held in the Austrian capital Vienna from 7-9 October 2016. There will be plenty of events, concerts and this year a glassblowing show at the fair, as well as over 100 exhibitors.

Unity Cup, Amsterdam Netherlands: November 20-23, 2016

After the disappointing High Times Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam in 2014, many cofee stores in the capital decided to organize a Cannabis Cup. They didn't want to hold back and at this fair they deal with the topics: Hashish, Indicas, Sativas, Hybrids, Marijuana Edibles and THC. This year's event will be held at the Melkweg (center) in Amsterdam.
