Waterfarm from GHE
The Waterfarm by GHE is a complete hydroponic grow system for indoor cultivation. It features easy operation and is perfect for a small number of plants, a large plant or a mother plant. It increases growth with full control over the nutrition and development of the plant. AquaFarm/Waterfarm is the first indoor hydroponic system. It was developed almost 40 years ago in California by Lawrence Brooke, founder of General Hydroponics. Since 1975, thousands of these growing systems have been sold all over the world. The system is characterised by high user satisfaction because it produces large and very potent yields.
The plants grow in a pot filled with hydrocorrels. This "culture pot" hangs over a tank filled with nutrient solution. An air pump distributes the nutrient solution via an irrigation ring. The nutrient solution runs back through the expanded clay into the reservoir. The nutrient solution is constantly oxygenated, which ensures rapid growth of the plant and its roots. It is important that the pump runs continuously.
The piece of tubing on the side of the water tank indicates the level of the nutrient solution. It should be approximately at the level of the "culture pot" that is hooked in.
The pump supplied is an ACO 2201 with 1.8 watts and an output of 78l/h.
