With one and the same ballast and light source, you can now flexibly decide how much electricity you consume and how much light you produce.

The ballast from Lumatek has the superlumen function and a total of 4 switching levels: 250W/275W/400W and 440W. Superlumen provides 10% more power and generates up to 27% more lumens. The electronic ballast is noiseless and only gets slightly warm even after prolonged use. It is equipped with an interrupting mechanism, which offers more safety in case of short circuits and overvoltage.

A ballast is a necessary prerequisite for the operation of NDL and MH lamps. The Lumatek ballast runs reliably and continuously and controls the start-up phase via microprocessors, which protects the lamp. It can be operated with 250W NDL lamps (at 250W/275W level) and with 400W NDL lamps (at 400W/440W superlumen level). MH lamps can also be operated with the Lumatek ballast. These must be operated at their respective power level and cannot be dimmed. For example, 400W MH lamps with a setting of 400W on the Lumatek.

The Lumatek ballast is already equipped with hard-wired connections and only needs to be connected to the lampholder of the lamp during commissioning.
