The advantage of the Volcano Digit from Storz and Bickel over the analogue Volcano Classic is, on the one hand, the large LED display that informs the user immediately and precisely about the operating status, and on the other hand, it communicates digitally with the ectronic control and works even more precisely than the bimetallic controller of the Volcano Classic.

The Volcano Digit is equipped with a shapely, brushed metal cone. When selecting the materials, care was taken to use tasteless and food-safe materials.

Both the high-performance heating cartridge and the powerful diaphragm pump withstand the highest loads. An independent temperature fuse, air filter and silencer are just as much a matter of course for the Volcano Digit as the specially designed aluminium heating block, which brings the air cleanly and reliably to the desired temperature.

Storz & Bickel offers two different valve systems for the Volcano Digit:

During the development of the Easy Valve, the wishes and needs of the customers were taken into account. The Easy Valve is characterised by very simple handling and minimal maintenance. When the Easy Valve has reached the end of its service life, it is simply replaced by a new one. The filling chamber is cleaned and reused.

The advantage of the Solid Valve is the individually determinable size of the valve balloon as well as the cheaper balloon material.

With both valve sets, the large balloon allows excellent visual control of the steam development. All air- and vapour-carrying parts of the valve systems are tasteless and food-safe.
