The origin of the medical grapefruit is in the mountains of Canada. That is where the original grapefruit comes from, which only exists as a clone. Cannamed crossed an elite clone of her with a specially selected Juanita de Lagrimosa from their gene pool and stabilised it through years of careful backcrossing. The result is a 70% sativa, but with a more indicatypical, stocky growth with lots of strong side branches and only 9-10 weeks flowering time. Indoors, Medical Grapefruit gives the best results as ScrOG (Screen of Green). It should start flowering after 2-3 weeks of growth, then it reaches a final height of 90-120cm and produces 525-575g per m². Outdoors and in the greenhouse it grows up to 180cm and over 650g per plant can be harvested in mid-October .

The aroma of the Medical Grapefruit is very fruity and earthy, its taste is reminiscent of a tart, ripe grapefruit with slightly mentholated undertones.

Medical Grapefruit has an average of 18.5% THC, 0.12% CBD and 0.12% CBN. Its effect is sativa-typical cerebral (spiritual), very energetic and mood-lifting. It is therefore used to treat depressive moods and for listlessness. Because of its hardly noticeable physical effects, medical grapefruit is an ideal and very uplifting companion for the day. Concentrates and oils made from it taste extremely fruity and intense and have a wide range of effects.
