The Jiffy peat swell pots are a perfect growing medium for germinating seeds and rooting cuttings. Simply place the peat swell pots in warm water so that they swell and they are ready for further use. After they have swelled, they are about 5cm high and, once rooted, fit perfectly into the large rockwool cubes. The pH value does not have to be regulated as with rock wool. In addition, the peat swell pots are pre-fertilised a little.
