The multi-parameter Combo tester is robust, splash-proof and measures pH, EC, TDS and temperature simultaneously. It impresses with its simple handling and its easily replaceable electroprobe. Temperature compensation is done manually by means of an integrated temperature probe. The lightweight and compact pocket meter is optimal for routine measurements of the nutrient solution.
Combination meters save space and money by eliminating the need to buy different meters. The EC-Meter should be cleaned after each use and calibrated regularly to increase the lifetime of the probe. The meter is calibrated with a calibration solution and at the push of a button.

The pH value is of considerable importance in the cultivation of plants. It indicates the acidity of substrates, irrigation water and nutrient solutions. Overall, the pH value can be between 0 and 14. In strongly acidic or alkaline media, plants can no longer absorb certain nutrients. In addition, some nutrients can be released in large quantities under the conditions, so that they then also have a damaging effect.

Conductivity (EC value) is a relevant parameter in plant cultivation. It is the ability of a medium to conduct an electric current. It can be used to measure the fertiliser content in the nutrient solution.
