The digital controller is a humidity and temperature-dependent speed controller for ventilated rooms with supply and extract air fans. The fan controller keeps the humidity and room temperature constant. A negative pressure regulation prevents odours from escaping. It is easy to operate. The desired humidity, temperature and negative pressure are set on four buttons.

The controller is supplied as a single unit and is ready for use. It comes complete with a waterproof housing, connectors with hinged lids and a digital low voltage sensor that makes it the perfect controller for damp rooms. The sensor is supplied with a 4 metre cable and can be extended up to 50 metres if required.

Instructions:

Plug the exhaust fan into the left socket (outtake fan) and, depending on the version, a supply fan into the right socket (intake fan). Install the temperature sensor or humidity & temperature sensor (depending on the version) at a point where you want to take the measurement. Make sure that it is not directly exposed to a heat source or light rays. The sensor cable carries a low voltage that is completely harmless to the environment. If the measuring cable is too short, it can be extended up to 50 metres for temperature sensors.
Now plug the mains plug into the socket. The fan controller initialises, this can take up to 10 seconds. The green ON light flashes and the fans run at 50% of their power. After initialisation, ON lights up permanently. The fan controller now regulates the temperature.

Functions:

Temperature setting:

The desired temperature is set with the "Temperature setting" button. The controller starts controlling from the set value and is at 100% of its control capacity at 2C° overtemperature. (Exception: controller with hysteresis setting).

Humidity setting:

The desired humidity is set with the "Humidity setting" button. The controller starts controlling from the set value and is at 100% of its control capacity at 10rh overhumidity.

Minimum speed setting:

The "Minimum speed setting" knob is used to set the minimum speed of the exhaust air fan, which must never be undershot. This function can also be switched off in the "off" position. The fan is switched on automatically when required by the temperature or humidity.

Maximum speed setting:

The "Maximum speed setting" knob is used to set the maximum speed that should never be exceeded in order to prevent loud noises at full capacity. The maximum speed setting is subject to the function of the minimum speed setting.

Negative pressure setting:

The "Negative pressure setting" knob is used to set the negative pressure in the room during the working process (temperature or humidity control). It reduces the speed of the supply air fan synchronously with the exhaust air so that the controller ensures a constant negative pressure in the room.
