With the GSE 600W electronic ballast, both NDL and MH lamps can be operated. It is adjustable to 660W, 600W, 400W and 250W. GSE only uses high-quality components in the ballast, such as cast aluminium high-temperature electrolytic capacitors, high-frequency electrolytic capacitors, Philips NXP transistors, high-frequency ISKRA components. 84% of the components included are made in the EU. The aluminium housing has cooling fins that help keep the operating temperature low. The high frequency (80-220 kHz) avoids acoustic resonance of the bulb. The GSE ballast is pre-wired with connecting cable and reflector cable. The GSE ballast has soft-start technology that extends the life of light bulbs, has overheating protection and an LED status indicator.

GSE does not recommend dimming lamps, as this shortens their life and negatively changes the colour spectrum. Therefore, always use the lamp that matches the corresponding setting on the unit.
