Grapefruit originates from the mountains of Canada and has been known since the 80s. It was only available as a clone and soon conquered the hearts of growers in North America because of its tropical grapefruit aroma and abundant yields.

In order not to alter the unique genetics of this variety, Positronics decided to fertilise an elite clone itself and breed the grapefruit from the resulting seeds through conscientious selection and backcrossing. The result is a variety that has absolutely inherited the tropical smell and taste of the mother and has a very uniform growth behaviour.

It can be grown both indoors and outdoors. It grows compact and medium high with a strong main stem and few side branches. It develops sticky, orange buds that are ready for harvesting after 55 days of flowering or at the beginning of October. The few leaves make harvesting 450 g/m² or 400 g/plant child's play.

The effect of grapefruit is euphoric and stimulating despite its 18% THC and 0.5% CBD. This is what makes it so interesting as a medicinal cannabis when used against depressive moods and for mood enhancement.
