Description

GHE Ripen, final flowering fertiliser, NPK 0-6-5, 500 ml

Ripen is a complete fertiliser for the end of the flowering phase, also called "flowering booster". It has been specially designed to accelerate the maturation of the plants while improving their content of active ingredients.
It is a mixture of minerals and buffer substances, all dosed with precision by our researchers. Accuracy is particularly important at this stage of development, as the plant has often become sensitive at the end of the cycle and its absorption capacity is much lower than during the growth phase.

Ripen works on different levels:

  • It signals to the plant that it has reached the end of its life. It reacts by accelerating flowering and maturing with the aim of ensuring its reproduction.
  • It forces the plant to strengthen its defences. This increases the active ingredient content.
  • It gives the plant all the mineral ions needed in the last period of flowering.
  • It contributes to the metabolisation of any accumulation of nitrates or trace elements, improving taste and product quality.

Advantages:

  • Ripening allows a crop to be finished more quickly to avoid the risk of it spoiling in the event of damp and cool weather.
  • In the greenhouse or indoors, it helps to harmonise the cycles and thus to speed up the maturation of the slower plants.
  • Accelerating the ripening cycle in this way offers the possibility of harvesting before the plants are destroyed by insect or fungal attack.
  • Ripen increases the active ingredient content in medicinal plants. It is therefore particularly recommended if you produce medicinal plants that need to have an optimal concentration of active ingredients.
