Gavita DigiStar 600e ballast, 4-level adjustable and controllable with Master Controller controllable, 600W

The DigiStar 600e electronic ballast from Gavita has been developed to operate metal halide or sodium lamps safely and in the long term. It combines all the advantages that the demanding gardener is looking for:

• low heat development
• 4-stage adjustable
• Soft dimming technology
• 10% Light Boost

The ballasts of the e-series are designed for control with the Gavita Master Controller designed. All you have to do is connect them to the controller and set the switch to EXT (external control), and the ballast can be controlled via the master controller.

The DigiStar ballast is controlled by a microprocessor. Unlike conventional ballasts, the electronic DigiStar 600e generates hardly any heat, which means less light and energy is lost. An investment that pays off in no time. Only high-quality components are used for the Gavita DigiStar ballasts. The materials allow a very high frequency without generating acoustic noise.

DigiStar ballasts are adjustable and it is possible to increase the output power by up to 10% (Light Boost). The so-called soft dimming technology protects the lamp and extends its service life. When a new wattage is set, it is adjusted gradually over 60 seconds. The DigiStar 600e can be set to 300W / 400W / 600W / 660W.

Important tip: MH lamps must not be dimmed and must be operated at their respective wattage! (e.g.: 600W-MH = 600W setting on the ballast).
