Your plants absorb things that you do not want to consume. Plants grow by absorbing components of nutrients and water. These components become part of the plant tissue. As the plants get older, excess components of nutrients and other substances accumulate. These reduce the quality of the end product and can show up as over-fertilisation or other signs of disease.

Fertiliser residues do not only cause a bad taste, but can also strain the lungs when consumed and even lead to health problems. If you smoke weed and it sticks in your lungs, it is often because of the fertiliser residues.

Not all flush/rinse additives work the same. Many growers rinse the plants some time before harvesting with pure water that does not contain nutrients. However, this does not completely clean and flush the plants. The plants only starve before harvest, the vigorous flower growth in the final phase and the strong resin production is lost.

Many flushing products cannot completely remove chemical residues and mainly take away plant nutrients, resulting in a lower yield and potency. Organic fertilisers in themselves do not have purifying properties and therefore there is a better way to ensure that your crop is crystal clean.

Flawless Finish was developed specifically for cannabis plants.

This is how Flawless Finish works in hydroponic systems: Approx. 4-10 days before the planned harvest, the flushing process begins. In hydroponic systems, the reservoir is completely emptied and filled with fresh water. Only one formula is added to this, namely Flawless Finish. After Flawless Finish is added to the tank of the hydroponic system, the roots of the plants are watered continuously for 6 hours to wash the root zone. From then on, the plants are only watered with pure water.

Flawless Finish showed in the test that it can almost completely wash out deposited fertiliser salts and other residues.

What is A chelate and how can it be used to make the crop more valuable?

You have to look at the molecular level here. Flawless Finish contains a wide range of ingredients called chelates. Chelates are like chemical claws that can grab and bind certain substances such as individual nutrients. During the 6-hour washing process, a wide range of the chelates and nutrient salts are washed out of the plants, as well as heavy metals. Finally, by the time the plants are harvested, Flawless Finish will have helped them release more residues that will leave the plant and be washed into the Flawless solution.

When the flawless solution has done its job after 6 hours, all water is removed from the reservoir and refilled with fresh pure water. The plants become pure of at least 85% of the residues present until harvest.
