Basil Purpura has an intense aroma and is used for the preparation of salads and many dishes. As a companion plant next to cannabis, it makes itself useful by keeping away aphids, whitefly, thrips and harmful beetles with its intense scent.
It is said that basil can enhance the aroma of surrounding plants. The plants like a sunny, warm spot that is protected from the wind.
