Claustrum was created by combining the finest sativa genes available in the world. Positronics first crossed a Kali Mist with a Super Silver Haze. The resulting plants had numerous different phenotypes, from which the most potent and vital ones were selected in an elaborate and time-consuming process. These were crossed with an original Jack Herer and Claustrum was created, one of the most psychedelic and potent sativas there is.

She convinces every smoker with her extreme THC content of 21%, which is completely evident when enjoying Claustrum. It can be grown indoors as well as outdoors, needs about 80 days in the growroom and until the beginning of November outdoors until it is ready for harvest. The slightly longer waiting time compared to Indicas is easily compensated for with yields of 550 g per m² indoors and 600 g per plant when grown outdoors. Immediately after germination, it starts to shoot up very fast, which can lead to 5m tall plants outdoors. Indoors, you should therefore send her into flower very quickly and she can only be grown as ScrOG (Screen of Green), but with overwhelming success. Unlike most sativas, Claustrum has a huge nutrient requirement, which means it tends to under-fertilise and you should check it regularly to increase the amount of fertiliser if necessary.

It develops only a few leaves, so that the light can really reach all the flowers and even buds further down can fully mature. It develops "wadded up", thick buds that are sticky with resin. If it gets enough light and nutrients, the buds explode towards the end and develop the typical sativa "horns". Because of its enormous resistance to mould and fungi, it can really be grown until the end.
