California Indica by Sensi Seeds: an Orange Bud cross of superlatives

California Indica by Sensi Seeds is the result of crossing a California Orange Bud with an extremely potent Afghani male. There are different phenotypes of Orange Bud on the west coast of California, which vary considerably in their genetic composition. What these different lines of California Orange Bud have in common is the distinctive citrus scent, a pungent aroma and the incomparable orange hairs. Sensi Seeds used a sativa-dominant mother of this exceptional strain and crossed this mother with an extremely potent male, which already lent the genes to the popular Hashplant. The resulting California Indica has a slight indica dominance and enormous potency.

California Indica needs about 45-50 days flowering time, some phenos even a week longer, and during this time develops thick, fat buds with coloured, orange flower hairs. Yields are 450-550g per m² in the growroom and 350-400g per plant for outdoor growing. Outdoors, California Indica can be harvested in early October and due to its resistance to fungi, it can also be grown in Central Europe without any problems.

The aroma of California Indica is characterised by a fruity, lemony note that comes from the Orange Bud mother. This is rounded off with the earthy, resinous taste of the Afghani, which makes the California Indica resemble dark orange chocolate.

Its effect is a balanced mixture of both worlds. On the one hand, her high gives you a relaxing body sensation that is also coated with an energetic sativa note and makes you incredibly creative.
