With Trikologic you inoculate your substrate with micro-organisms and protect roots and plants from pathogens and fusarium. Especially in substrate-less hydrosystems, its use is indispensable. It is an important adjuvant in bio-growing and a secret weapon for commercial cultivation. Trichoderma harzianum is the first useful microorganism that has also become standard in commercial greenhouse cultivation.

The microorganisms living in soil, coconut fibre or similar substrates break down organic matter and release minerals in the process. This process plays a crucial role in organic farming, bio-hydroponics, bioponics and aquaponics. As recent research has shown, Trichoderma releases a number of compounds as they develop and spread, which stimulate plant growth and at the same time render harmless or kill dangerous pathogens living in the soil.

The cultures consist of particularly viable strains that help to achieve first-class results.

• Trikologic complies with the requirements of the European Directive 2008/113/EC on micro-organisms as active substances and is registered under the following number: BBA No. LS 004987-65-00.

Use:

In water, the living conditions of bacteria are not very favourable because the buffering effect of the soil, which protects against high temperature or pH fluctuations, is not present. Microorganisms need an appropriate substrate to survive and cannot multiply in flowing water. They also need a lot of oxygen and must be kept constantly moist, otherwise they die.

With coconut fibre, rock wool or perlite: In this case you can inoculate the substrate directly with the micro-organisms. Simply sprinkle Trikologic on the substrate.

• 10 g Trikologic is sufficient for 100 litres of nutrient solution. It should be refilled every 6 to 8 weeks.

The more numerous the micro-organisms are, the better the plants are supplied with nutrients.

Notes from Juan: A significant drop in pH is a warning sign that always results in the death of many micro-organisms. In this case, the causes should be urgently sought. The problem should be eliminated, then inoculate again.
