The Truncheon EC wand is one of the most popular meters in plant breeding. It requires no calibration and has no switches, which makes it very easy to use. The blue LED display is easy to read even in daylight and in the grow room. With the Bluelab Truncheon you can stir your nutrient solution very well before reading. The sturdy and waterproof housing guarantees a long service life.
Simply hold the measuring rod in the nutrient solution for 1 to 2 minutes so that the temperature can adjust and the readings are accurate. After use, rinse with fresh water and clean weekly with a cleaning solution. This way, the measurement results of the Bluelab Trucheon always remain accurate.

Conductivity (EC value) is a relevant parameter in plant cultivation. It is the ability of a medium to conduct an electric current. It can be used to measure the fertiliser content in the nutrient solution.
