The Bluelab pH Pen is the latest innovation in pocket meters. It was specially developed as an affordable and effective option for hobby and small gardeners who value quality. The small pen is ideal for reading the pH value so that you can easily check the nutrient solution or the hydroponic system. You can also use it to determine the water temperature so that all nutrients are optimally available to the plants. The meter is calibrated with a pH 4.0 / 7.0 calibration solution at the touch of a button.

The pH value is of considerable importance in the cultivation of plants. It indicates the acidity of substrates, irrigation water and nutrient solutions. Overall, the pH value can be between 0 and 14. In strongly acidic or alkaline media, plants can no longer absorb certain nutrients. In addition, some nutrients can be released in large quantities under the conditions, so that they then also have a damaging effect.
