Black Widow (Positronics), feminised seeds

Black Widow is an endogenous cross between two excellent Indica strains. The Misty genetics revolutionised the 80's, while its origin is unknown. Positronics decided to preserve the genetics and imported the strain from the USA. Then, in the mid-90s, White Widow emerged and became one of the most famous as well as popular varieties. Positronics crossed the two with great success. It is recommended for medicinal purposes due to its high CBD concentration.

The plant is very vigorous, compact and branches strongly. It has short distances between the internodes, long woody branches and very large leaves. Black Widow produces a maximum amount of flowers that are very firm, compact and covered with resin. Outdoors, the variety can grow 1-2m tall, indoors it will reach about 1m in height. Black Widow is generally very resistant to pests. The plant got its name because it has very dark green leaves.

The effect is strongly sedative and relaxing. Black Widow has therefore also proven to be helpful for sleeping difficulties.

• It does not like large amounts of fertiliser, so fertilise rather weakly.
• the use of purely biological fertilisers is recommended, especially for medicinal use
• If the plant is brought into a dark, well-ventilated room 2-3 days before harvesting, you can generally increase the resin production significantly.
