Bactrex can be used for freshly rooted cuttings and seedlings and is effective against pathogenic fungi such as Pythium. Bactrex is water soluble, in powder form and contains a lot of beneficial soil organisms (Trichoderma fungi and Actinomycetes) including 6 strains of Bacillus spp. These have a particularly positive effect on soil structure and fertility. Special root bacteria are included in soluble yucca extract with organic catalysts to ensure rapid colonisation and growth of the root zone. In addition to beneficial soil bacteria, BACTREX also contains several effective strains of Trichoderma.

Trichoderma are a type of fungi that are harmful to certain other fungi, including fungi that cause disease in some plants. For this reason, Trichoderma should always be used as a soil treatment or immediately after sowing or planting so that these harmful fungi can be eliminated before they cause disease. BACTREX contains 8 different bacteria, Trichoderma cultures and humic acid.

BACTREX is a living product, once dissolved in water, the solution must be used within 6 hours.
