Der Air Max Pot ist ein „intelligentes“ Pflanzgefäß der neuesten Generation. Durch die gute Belüftung des Topfes und die ständige Zufuhr von Sauerstoff wird ein gesundes und reichliches Wurzelwachstum angeregt. Fasrige Wurzeln werden besonders gefördert und dies beeinflußt in späteren Entwicklungsphasen deutlich die Blütebildung. Ein starkes Wurzelsystem bedeutet auch eine erhöhte Effizienz bei der Absorption von Wasser und Nährstoffen, eine erhöhte Wachstumsrate und gesündere und kräftigere Pflanzen.

The improvements to the root system are achieved because of the structure of the planter. As the roots grow and reach the edge of the pot, they also enter the small holes located on the side walls, the tips of the roots are oxygenated before they can entwine. The plant responds by producing additional roots. This process provides a dense and fibrous radial root system in a very short time.
