Agrolite MH 600W, metal halide lamp
Metal-halogen bulb with high output. It is ideal for plants in the vegetative stage that have a faster growth, such as cannabis. Due to its light spectrum, the plants grow bushier than under a sodium vapour lamp (NDL).
It is also the perfect light source for mother plants and cuttings.

Note:
Sodium vapour and metal halide lamps require extremely high voltages to ignite the bulb, so they need a ballast....
This ballast generates the voltage required to start the respective lamp from the usual household current.
Ballast and lamp must match, i.e. 250W lamp with 250W ballast, 400W lamp with 400W ballast, etc.
