Afghanica, as the name suggests, comes from Afghanistan and originally grows in a valley at an altitude of about 800m. Afghanistan has a continental climate with hot summers and very cold winters and accordingly this landrace is very robust and short flowering. In contrast to the Indicas found in the higher mountains, it grows with longer side branches and an altogether more elongated behaviour.

Afghanica: a pure Indica landrace with high yields

Afghanica needs 8-9 weeks of flowering time and can be harvested in outdoor growing around the end of September / beginning of October. The yields are extremely high for a pure Indica with up to 700g per plant, in the growroom she can even yield over 600g per m², if she is supplied with sufficient nutrients and especially from the 2nd week of flowering the nitrogen supply is increased. Afghanica is a very resin-rich landrace that is not considered the best strain in the region of origin for nothing.

The aroma of Afghanica is earthy with a heavy floral bouquet. The effect is calming and relaxing without putting you to sleep. It relaxes the mind and dispels the worries of everyday life with a deep contentment.
