After 12 years of breeding, testing and experimenting with many different strains, Paradise Seeds was born in 1994. About 17 years ago, the coffee shops in Amsterdam started selling imported hashish from India, Afghanistan or Morocco, as well as weed from Thailand, Colombia, Mexico or Malawi. The majority of it was poor quality. This changed when the new varieties created in the USA became known. These were already higher quality hybrids. Since around this time, Paradise Seeds has also been actively involved in research into cannabis varieties. At first, it was started at a few outdoor locations in Holland. The aim was to produce an absolute quality weed, with a sweet/spicy taste and strong effect.
