Before sowing the plants, the grow box/grow room should be set up and equipped with the necessary equipment. An unfinished or non-existent grow box is a very poor environment for the plants and therefore everything should be ready in advance. It is also important to consider where in the house the box can best be placed so that it is discreet and at the same time well ventilated. Keep in mind that the exhaust air from the grow cabinet should always go directly to the outside and in no case lead into the same room where the grow box is located.
Necessary equipment for the gorw box or the grow room:
1 = Activated carbon filter (AKF): attached to the fan, it removes the odour from the exhaust air and thus ensures safety
2 = Fan: exchanges the air in the growroom, ensures that it does not get too hot and "stuffy", transports moisture out of the growbox, should be placed in the upper part of the growbox.
3 = warm exhaust air rises (to the fan)
4 = fresh air flows into the growroom
5 = (pivoting ) Fan: ensures that the air circulates, the plants need circulating air for healthy development and growth, helps to prevent fungal diseases, for larger boxes 2 or more fans should be used.
6 = Sodium vapour lamp with ballast and reflector: for lighting the plants
Your growroom should be a real small climate system. This is the only way that plants can develop well indoors and deliver the corresponding yields. Outside you should build a box out of wood or foil or buy a ready-made one. Growbox so that the ideal indoor climate can be created. The inside walls of the grow box should be white, because this reflects the light best. For successful indoor growing, sufficient ventilation, a sodium vapour lamp (250W, 400W, 600W or 1000W) or LED and a grow box/grow tent are absolutely necessary and belong to the basics that you cannot do without. The door to the grow tent/growbox should be closed when you have nothing to do in the plant room, so that the desired air circulation and the desired air exchange really works.
