Double Banana Kush was created by backcrossing the best F1 Banana Kush phenotype with its OG Kush parent. This increased the excessive resin production and cannabinoid content. At the same time, a fruity F2 Banana Kush was bred with a California Indica from Sensi Seeds to create a strain with outstanding aroma, flavour and potency. In a special breeding programme, the strains were combined to create a stable strain with all the desired characteristics. Double Kush is an almost pure Indica with an Indica content of 95%, which is enormously compact and resilient.

Outdoors, it thrives best in a bright greenhouse or in a sunny, warm climate. The flowers become particularly resinous and large when grown indoors under sufficient light. During flowering, the plants from the seeds can stretch up to 150%. The strain is excellent for a Sea-Of-Green as well as SCROG and responds well to pruning techniques such as lollipopping or super cropping. The flowers are large, cone-shaped and tufted. At the beginning of flowering the calyxes are still small, but in the last weeks they swell enormously, increasing the weight and volume of the buds considerably.

The flowers are smothered by a thick smear of trichomes, giving them a frosty glistening appearance. The mature trichomes are mostly golden in colour. Double Banana Kush has a complex, delicious aroma and flavour of bananas with hints of orange and berries. Sometimes the aroma of melon and passion fruit is added. It is the perfect strain to relax at home, either alone or with friends. The high is happy, thought-provoking and has powerful indica effects. Food, music or conversation are enriched with her and many activities are simply more fun with her.
